Spring 2015 classes have been scheduled, now using the Meetup platform for simple RSVP and sharing purposes. The Radical Wellness group will include a weekly topical presentation along with a shamanic meditation and talking circle.
Self Care 101 – Tired? Depressed? In Pain? Are you working with modern medicine and find you still need more to get through the week between appointments? Or has modern medicine completely failed you?
This basic repeating class will cover a set of tools that I have used personally, as well as with my kids and wellness clients to empower self-care in the midst of most any challenge that arises. Pain, sudden or chronic illness, PTSD triggering, anxiety around medical procedures, parenting challenges, you name it. The tools are right at your fingertips.
Principle 1: Balance Mind & Body – Wellness is enhanced and the healing response activated when mind and body are in synch. We’ll use practical meditative and visualization techniques to do just this. Align mind, heart, and body to supercharge your well-being.
We’ll end each of these classes with a talking circle — a sacred space for sharing concerns and experiences in a safe supportive way.
